Pacific Smiles Staffing Solutions is offering the popular Oral Health Promotion for Dental Assistants who are looking to advance their career.
Our trainers have backgrounds as hygienists and have extensive oral health knowledge for community and residential care settings.
This course covers causes of oral disease, prevention strategies, providing appropriate advice and information to clients, implementing a prevention program and promoting oral health to target groups including the elderly in a community or residential aged care setting.
Classroom Training: Training is conducted 1 day or 2 evenings a month over 8 months with a major project to be completed within the 12 months enrolment period.
Distance Learning: Training is undertaken at a participant’s own pace from anywhere in Australia.
Recognition: For participants who may be eligible to receive credit for previous studies or currency of work practice through the provision of appropriate evidence.
Gap Training: For participants who only need one or several units to complete the qualification.
